JMG Limited has supplied an 850kVA FG Wilson generator to Nigerian cosmetics manufacturer, Blue World Cosmetics, to strengthen its power supply and support increased manufacturing capacity.
The project, completed in April 2026, was undertaken to meet the manufacturer’s growing energy requirements and minimise production disruptions caused by unreliable electricity supply.
The development comes as Blue World Cosmetics expands its manufacturing operations, requiring additional generating capacity to sustain production and meet increasing demand for its products.
Blue World Cosmetics manufactures and markets skincare, body-care and haircare products, including lotions, cleansers, soaps, body washes, hair creams, conditioners and powders.
JMG supplied an FG Wilson P850 generator rated at 850kVA to provide the additional power capacity needed to support the company’s manufacturing activities.
Consistent electricity is essential to cosmetics manufacturing, where production processes depend on the uninterrupted operation of mixing, processing, filling and packaging equipment.
Power interruptions can disrupt production schedules, affect product consistency and delay deliveries, making reliable backup power an important requirement for manufacturers seeking to maintain operational efficiency.
Speaking on the project, JMG Limited’s Area Sales Manager, Adamma Akpan, said the installation was designed to provide Blue World Cosmetics with the additional power capacity required to sustain dependable production.
“This project was focused on giving Blue World Cosmetics the additional power capacity required to support dependable production. The 850 kVA FG Wilson generator provides a strong foundation for operational continuity as the company’s manufacturing requirements increase,” Akpan said.
The project was coordinated through JMG’s Gbagada branch, highlighting the company’s provision of industrial power solutions to meet the changing operational needs of Nigerian businesses.
JMG Limited provides power generation, industrial and electromechanical solutions to businesses and institutions across Nigeria.
Its services include diesel and gas power generation, solar energy, compressed air systems, electrical infrastructure, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), elevators and escalators, as well as logistics and after-sales support.
