Rite Foods Limited has won the Best Foods and Beverage Brand, Nigeria 2026 award at the Global Brand Awards held in Dubai on October 2, in recognition of its innovation, product quality and consumer engagement in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
The award, organised by the UK-based Global Brands Magazine, recognises brands that demonstrate excellence in innovation, market performance, brand development and consumer engagement.
The latest recognition adds to the company’s growing list of industry accolades, following the naming of its Managing Director, Seleem Adegunwa, as Industrialist of the Year 2025 by Vanguard Media Limited for his leadership, entrepreneurial achievements and contributions to Nigeria’s FMCG sector.
Speaking on the recognitions, Adegunwa said they validated the company’s commitment to building indigenous brands capable of competing on the global stage.
“These recognitions reflect our firm commitment to innovation, quality and consumer satisfaction. At Rite Foods, we have remained intentional about creating products that connect with consumers while continuously raising the bar in manufacturing excellence, brand experience and market relevance,” he said.
He attributed the company’s achievements to the dedication of its workforce, partners and consumers, adding that Nigerian businesses could compete successfully in an increasingly competitive marketplace by prioritising excellence, innovation and long-term value creation.
Rite Foods’ product portfolio includes Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, available in 13 variants; Bigi Table Water; Sosa Fruit Drink, available in five flavours; Fearless Energy Drink in Classic and Red Berry variants; Rite Spicy Sausage Roll; Bigi Beef Sausage Roll; Bigi Flex Sausage Roll; and LIDA Malt.
The company said its products were manufactured at its fully automated facility equipped with advanced technology and infrastructure.
It also highlighted the Bigi brand’s presence in Nigeria’s carbonated soft drinks market and Fearless Energy Drink’s introduction of packaged energy drinks in polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles in the country, which it said helped expand convenience and accessibility in the category.
Beyond manufacturing, Rite Foods said it had continued to invest in youth empowerment, community development, entertainment partnerships, sports development and consumer engagement initiatives as part of its broader social and economic contributions.
The company said it would continue to focus on product innovation, consumer experience and strengthening the position of Nigerian-made brands in the global marketplace.
