JMG Limited has exposed Mechanical Engineering students of Yaba College of Technology to industrial production processes and the practical application of engineering knowledge during a factory visit to its facility in Lagos.
The visit, which took place on Friday, October 23, 2026, featured members of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), Yaba Tech Chapter, and provided the students with first-hand exposure to industrial operations.
The students were accompanied by Engr. Musa Isiaq, a lecturer and examination officer in the institution’s Mechanical Engineering Department, while Oluwatomi Faniran, Head of Marketing at JMG Limited, represented the company during the engagement.

The factory visit offered the students an opportunity to observe industrial processes outside the classroom and gain a better understanding of how engineering principles are applied in practical working environments.
Such engagements provide an avenue for engineering students to connect theoretical knowledge acquired during their academic training with the technical processes and operational practices they may encounter in their professional careers.
The visit also underscored the value of interaction between educational institutions and industry players in providing students with practical exposure to the workplace and helping them develop a clearer understanding of the application of their chosen discipline.
