JMG Clima Delivers High-Efficiency Trane HVAC System to Leading Snacking Company in Lagos

A prominent Nigerian snacking company, home to a range of well-known international brands, has upgraded its cooling infrastructure following the successful installation and commissioning of a high-efficiency HVAC system by JMG Clima, the climate solutions division of JMG Limited.

The development was revealed in a press statement signed by Cyrena Novia, Media Executive, and made available to journalists on Monday, 27th April, 2026.

According to the statement, the Lagos-based facility required a robust commercial air-conditioning solution capable of maintaining stable indoor temperatures under the city’s high heat and humidity conditions. This necessitated a comprehensive cooling load analysis and HVAC system audit conducted by JMG Clima.

Following the assessment, the company, which is the official authorized dealer of Trane Technologies in Nigeria, delivered and commissioned a high-efficiency Trane HVAC system. The installation combined a VRF system with TRANE ODYSSEY commercial units, engineered in line with global performance standards.

The upgraded system was designed to enhance cooling stability and operational efficiency across the facility. It is expected to deliver improved temperature consistency across occupied zones, better airflow distribution and indoor air quality, reduced strain during peak load conditions, and lower long-term maintenance requirements.

While actual energy savings will depend on operating conditions and usage patterns, the company noted that the system aligns with global benchmarks for energy-efficient commercial HVAC installations.

Speaking on the project, JMG Clima Sales Manager, Hussam Aziz, said the intervention was designed to go beyond installation and deliver measurable performance gains.

“Our objective was not just to install an HVAC system, but to deliver measurable performance improvement. The Trane solution now provides greater cooling stability, improved energy utilization, and long-term value for the client,” he said.
