Fidelity Bank Plc is set to host the next edition of its Quarterly Business Forum in Kano on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, with a focus on unlocking growth opportunities for businesses in Northern Nigeria.

The forum, themed “Positioning Northern Businesses for Growth,” will bring together business owners, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and other stakeholders to examine strategies for strengthening businesses and promoting sustainable growth across the region.

According to a statement issued by the bank, discussions at the forum will centre on improving financial management, access to finance, digital solutions, market expansion and other practical measures capable of enhancing business operations and competitiveness.

The Divisional Head, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises Banking, Fidelity Bank Plc, Ugochi Osinigwe, said the forum was designed to equip businesses with practical knowledge and connections needed to thrive in the current business environment.

Osinigwe said, “The Fidelity Bank Quarterly Business Forum is designed to equip businesses with practical knowledge, meaningful connections, and access to opportunities that can drive growth and competitiveness.”

She added that taking the forum to Kano underscored the bank’s commitment to supporting businesses across the country, particularly entrepreneurs in Northern Nigeria.

The Kano edition follows the success of the bank’s previous Quarterly Business Forum in Port Harcourt, which provided entrepreneurs with practical business insights, industry connections and opportunities for sustainable growth.

The forum will also feature sessions led by industry experts and business leaders, while participants will have opportunities to network, exchange experiences and gain insights tailored to the realities of the contemporary business environment.

The bank said the Quarterly Business Forum formed part of its broader efforts to support the growth of Nigeria’s micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through access to knowledge, capacity building, financial services and strategic business networks.

Fidelity Bank recently received the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) Service Ambassadors Award for the Highest Impact on MSMEs Accessing Credit for the First Time, in recognition of its efforts to deepen financial inclusion and improve access to credit for businesses.

Fidelity Bank Plc is a full-fledged commercial deposit money bank serving over 10 million customers through digital banking channels and its 255 business offices in Nigeria, as well as its United Kingdom subsidiary, FidBank UK Limited.

The bank has also received several local and international recognitions for its banking, SME support, innovation and community empowerment initiatives.
