The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reopening of its electronic membership registration exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The exercise is scheduled to commence nationwide on Monday, August 31, 2026, and will be conducted across all wards of the country.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, called on party stakeholders, supporters and members, both old and new, to participate in the exercise.
Morka said existing members would be required to validate their membership, while new and intending members could register to join the party.
He stated that registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
According to him, the e-registration exercise is aimed at digitising the party’s membership register and ensuring the integrity of its membership records.
He added that the initiative would provide efficient access to membership data for planning and management decisions, while promoting internal democracy and strengthening the APC’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
The APC spokesman urged party members and supporters to participate in the exercise as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.
