JMG Delivers Major Engineering Projects Across Healthcare, Aviation, Manufacturing

Integrated electromechanical solutions provider, JMG Limited, has announced the successful delivery of three major engineering projects across Nigeria’s healthcare, manufacturing and aviation sectors in the second quarter of 2026, underscoring its commitment to improving operational efficiency and sustainability for businesses.

The company disclosed this in a statement issued by its Media Executive, Cyrena Novia, noting that the projects were executed through its renewable energy, climate solutions and elevator divisions.

According to the statement, the projects demonstrate JMG’s continued focus on delivering innovative engineering solutions that enhance operational performance, reduce costs and support long-term business growth.

One of the flagship projects involved the design and installation of a hybrid solar power system by JMG Solar at St. Catherine Specialist Hospital, Wuse 2, Abuja, to provide uninterrupted electricity for critical medical services while reducing dependence on diesel generators.

The company said the project has enabled the hospital to cut diesel consumption by 50 per cent, from about 2,000 litres to 1,000 litres monthly, resulting in savings of approximately ₦14 million on diesel purchases within four months.

It added that the hospital’s monthly energy costs have also dropped by about ₦2 million, while the solar installation is expected to generate more than 133 megawatt-hours of clean electricity annually and prevent over 53,000 kilograms of carbon emissions each year.

In the manufacturing sector, JMG Clima, the company’s climate solutions division and authorised dealer of Trane in Nigeria, upgraded the cooling infrastructure at the corporate facility of one of the country’s leading snacking companies.

The statement explained that following a comprehensive assessment of the facility’s requirements, JMG deployed a high-efficiency Trane heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system to improve cooling performance, indoor air quality, operational reliability and long-term maintenance efficiency.

Similarly, JMG Elevator completed the installation and maintenance support of 16 TK Elevator units at Victor Attah International Airport in Akwa Ibom State.

The installation comprises 12 elevators and four escalators aimed at improving passenger movement, accessibility and operational efficiency across the airport terminal.

According to the company, the successful execution of the project earned it approval for the installation of an additional three units, bringing the total number of TK Elevator installations at the airport to 19.
