JMG Limited has hosted students of Wellspring College on an educational and industrial tour of its production facility as part of activities marking the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.

The company, in a statement, said the tour involved 41 SS1 Science students and their teachers and was aimed at exposing them to practical engineering and manufacturing operations.

According to JMG, the students were taken through assembly and production processes where they gained firsthand knowledge of engineering systems, manufacturing workflows, equipment handling and operational procedures.

The statement added that the students also participated in interactive learning sessions and guided inspections focused on industrial excellence and workplace culture.

Speaking during the visit, Plant Manager, Fouad El Chami urged the students to remain focused on their studies and take advantage of opportunities in engineering and technology-related fields.

“Early exposure to practical environments can shape ambitions and inspire future career paths,” he said.

El Chami also encouraged the students to embrace discipline, continuous learning and academic excellence to succeed in the manufacturing and engineering industries.

JMG stated that the initiative formed part of its corporate social responsibility and commitment to youth development, education and community advancement.

The company noted that providing practical industrial exposure for students would help stimulate curiosity, innovation and interest in engineering and technology careers among young Nigerians.
