Promasidor Nigeria has recorded a major milestone in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods sector after clinching three industry recognitions for excellence in dairy production, brand performance and corporate social responsibility.
At the Industry Awards, the company emerged as the “Outstanding Dairy Company of the Year,” while its flagship brand, Cowbell, won the “Dairy Brand of the Year” award.
Promasidor also received a Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) Awards for Marketing Excellence in recognition of its community development initiatives.
The Industry Awards is regarded as one of the leading platforms celebrating excellence, innovation and outstanding contributions across key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
Reacting to the recognitions, the Chief Executive Officer of Promasidor Nigeria, François Gillet, described the awards as a reflection of the confidence Nigerians continue to place in the company’s products and values.

“These recognitions reflect the trust Nigerians continue to place in our brands and our dedicated commitment to delivering quality products that support everyday nutrition and wellbeing. We are also honoured to see our efforts towards community development and youth empowerment acknowledged,” Gillet said.
Cowbell remains one of the country’s leading dairy brands, widely recognised for its nutritional value, affordability and accessibility.
Other products in the company’s portfolio include Loya Milk, Onga, Top Tea, Kremela, Twisco and Miksi.
Beyond its product offerings, the company has continued to invest in education, nutrition and youth empowerment initiatives across the country.
Through its Ikun Milk Day programme, Promasidor supports schoolchildren with fresh milk sourced from its Ikun Dairy Farm to improve nutrition and learning outcomes.
The company has also sustained its “Harness Your Dream” career guidance initiative for junior secondary school students across Nigeria for nearly a decade.
Its long-running educational programme, Cowbellpedia TV Quiz Show, recently rebranded as Mega Minds, has expanded into a broader STEM-focused platform promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education.
According to the company, the initiative offers prizes worth over N100 million, including cash rewards, laptops, learning tools and product gifts aimed at encouraging academic excellence among Nigerian students.
