JMG Limited, Nigeria’s integrated electromechanical solutions company, has recorded significant operational expansion across industrial, retail, and logistics sectors in the first quarter of 2026, with new engineering projects and infrastructure upgrades delivering measurable performance gains.
According to a statement by the company, the projects reflect a coordinated strategy to strengthen efficiency, reliability, and system integration across critical value chains in Nigeria’s economy.
In the industrial sector, JMG Industrial, the company’s air compressor division, carried out a major compressed air system upgrade at the Dangote Cement Gboko plant. The intervention followed a detailed system audit, airflow mapping, and performance evaluation, leading to the installation of eight Kaeser rotary lobe blower units designed for continuous-duty cement production.
The company reported that the upgrade delivered “a marked improvement in operational performance,” with airflow efficiency increasing by 23 per cent and peak airflow capacity rising by as much as 47 per cent. These improvements, according to JMG, have enhanced pressure stability across production lines, reduced energy losses, and improved overall reliability within the plant’s operations.
Expanding into the retail sector, JMG also executed a fully integrated infrastructure upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket, combining its power, HVAC, and electrical divisions—JMG Power, JMG Clima, and JMG Electra—into a unified system.
The installation features a hybrid power configuration comprising two FG Wilson 550kVA generators and a 330kVA Perkins-powered unit, integrated with grid supply for seamless load management and redundancy. The HVAC system includes Trane rooftop units, VRF zoning systems, ducted airflow networks, and inverter-based split and cassette units to ensure consistent temperature control across retail and storage areas. The electrical infrastructure was also redesigned to enhance load stability, protection, and scalability.
In the logistics segment, JMG Haulage expanded its fleet with 20 heavy-duty trucks aimed at improving nationwide distribution capacity. Each truck is configured to carry up to 24 pallets with a payload capacity of 45 tons, supporting FMCG and industrial supply chains.
The fleet includes both CNG-powered and diesel-powered trucks, with the CNG units offering a range of up to 1,400 kilometers, a move the company says improves operational flexibility and sustainability across long-distance routes.
Commenting on the developments, JMG Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said the results demonstrate the company’s commitment to integrated infrastructure delivery.
“Our focus is on strengthening systems that improve efficiency, reliability, and operational performance for our clients across industrial and logistics value chains,” Jammal stated.
JMG Limited noted that the combined projects reflect its systems-driven engineering approach, integrating power generation, HVAC, compressed air systems, electrical infrastructure, and logistics into unified operational ecosystems aimed at improving productivity across sectors.
