LAGOS — Promasidor Nigeria has celebrated the 2026 International Workers’ Day, recognising the contributions of its employees and reaffirming its commitment to workplace development and staff welfare.

In a statement issued by its Media Executive, Adejoke Salami, the company described its workforce as the foundation of its growth and sustained success in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods sector.

The company said the occasion provided an opportunity to appreciate employees for their dedication and resilience, while reiterating its focus on building a work environment where staff feel valued and motivated.

At a ceremony held to mark the day, Promasidor Nigeria brought together employees, retirees, and their families, with long-serving staff honoured for between 10 and 25 years of service. Retirees in 2026 were also recognised for their contributions to the organisation.

Chief Executive Officer of the company, François Gillet, commended employees for their commitment, noting that the firm’s achievements are driven by their efforts.

“Today is about celebrating our people — the individuals whose dedication and passion continue to move this company forward. Our growth and success over the years have only been possible because of the talent, hard work, and shared purpose of our employees,” he said.

Gillet added that organisations must continue to prioritise employee wellbeing and development in a changing work environment.

“As workplace realities continue to change, it is important that organisations invest in their people, support their wellbeing, and create opportunities for growth. At Promasidor Nigeria, we remain committed to building a culture where every employee feels respected, empowered, and motivated to succeed,” he said.

Promasidor Nigeria also highlighted its broader impact, including investments in local capacity development. The company cited its Ikun Dairy Farm in Ekiti State as a key project contributing to job creation and strengthening the local dairy value chain.

The firm, known for brands such as Cowbell Milk, Loya Milk, Onga, Kremela, Miksi, Twisco, and Top Tea, reiterated its commitment to improving lives through quality nutrition and sustained workforce development.
