The Lagos State Police Command has uncovered a sophisticated indoor cannabis farm at a residential property in Apapa, Lagos, arresting a 49-year-old Polish national and a 36-year-old Nigerian in connection with the discovery.
The suspects were identified as Thomas Razvickas, a Polish national, and James Chisome, a Nigerian, both of whom were said to be residents of the property where the facility was discovered.
The police spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, explaining that the discovery followed credible intelligence received by operatives of the Command.
According to the statement, the operation took place at about 8.15 a.m. on November 2, when operatives moved to the identified premises and conducted a search, uncovering a sophisticated indoor farming facility.

The facility was reportedly equipped for different stages of cannabis production, including cultivation, harvesting and processing of substances suspected to be cannabis.
The two suspects were subsequently arrested and taken into police custody. They have reportedly made confessional statements and are providing information expected to assist investigators in establishing the full circumstances surrounding the operation.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, visited the property after the discovery to personally inspect the facility, assess the extent of the operation and receive a briefing on the ongoing investigation.
Fatai commended the operatives for their vigilance and effective use of intelligence, reiterating the Command’s commitment to combating drug-related offences, dismantling criminal networks and preventing Lagos from becoming a safe haven for criminal activities.
He also appreciated members of the public for their continued cooperation, urging residents to sustain the timely provision of credible information to the police.
The Commissioner assured residents that the Command would remain proactive, responsive and resolute in its determination to rid Lagos State of criminal elements.
