The Ogun State Police Command has reaffirmed its commitment to youth development and education as the Commissioner of Police, Bode Ojajuni, celebrated the 2026 Children’s Day with students of Police Secondary School, Sagamu.
Ojajuni stated this while receiving the management and students of the school during a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Tuesday.
The police commissioner described children as the “leaders of tomorrow,” stressing that proper upbringing, education and moral values remain critical to national development.
According to him, Nigerian children have the capacity to become responsible leaders through hard work, discipline and proper guidance.
He urged the students to remain focused on their studies, respect constituted authority and uphold values that promote peace, integrity and patriotism.
Ojajuni also assured parents and residents of the command’s commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for children to learn and grow without fear.
Earlier, the Commandant of the school, CSP Nanloh Rindap, commended the police commissioner for his leadership and support for the institution, particularly in the areas of discipline and educational development.
Speaking on behalf of the students, Miss Oluwadarasimi Adeyemo appreciated the Ogun State Police Command for encouraging academic excellence and positive character development among students.
