JMG reaffirms commitment to elevator safety, visits Lagos safety commission

JMG Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing safety standards and promoting sustainable industry practices following a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Safety Commission in Alausa, Ikeja.

The visit, held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, brought together senior executives of JMG Elevators and officials of the Commission to strengthen collaboration on elevator safety awareness, technical training, regulatory compliance, and improved operational standards across Lagos State.

The JMG delegation was led by the Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, alongside Group Operations Director of JMG Elevators, Ahmed Sameh, and Head of Marketing, Oluwatomi Faniran. They were received by the Technical Adviser to the Commission, Seun Awojobi.

Speaking during the engagement, Jammal said the company remains committed to safety, innovation, and global best practices in all its operations.

“We continue to invest in quality systems, technical expertise and strategic partnerships that promote safer environments and raise industry standards,” he said.


He added that sustained collaboration with regulatory agencies remains critical to strengthening compliance and enhancing public confidence in the sector.

In his remarks, Awojobi commended the initiative, stressing the importance of stronger collaboration between regulators and private sector operators in promoting safety consciousness and professionalism.

“Continuous engagement among stakeholders will help improve operational standards and ensure safer systems across the state,” he said.

Both parties also exchanged ideas on technical capacity building, safety education, and industry development, with emphasis on sustaining global best practices in Nigeria’s elevator and electro-mechanical sector.
