Agege, Orile-Agege APC Leaders Back Tinubu, Hamzat, Endorse Adetunji

Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Agege and Orile-Agege areas of Lagos State have declared support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the state Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.

The position was made known at a general meeting of the party held in Agege, organised by the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Agege, in collaboration with the Justice Forum.

The meeting, attended by party stakeholders, grassroots mobilisers and faithful, provided a platform to reaffirm loyalty to the party leadership and strengthen mobilisation ahead of future political activities.

Among those present were the Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Hon. Kayode Opeifa; former member representing Agege Federal Constituency, Dr Samuel Adejare; former Lagos State House of Assembly member, Yinka Ogundimu; and PCC Chairman in Agege, Alhaji Sabitu Kamorudeen, among others.

Speaking at the meeting, Kamorudeen, Opeifa and other leaders pledged continued support for the Tinubu administration, commending its policies and leadership.

Opeifa urged members to converge at the Tafawa Balewa Square on May 10 to show support for Tinubu and Hamzat.

The stakeholders also expressed confidence in Hamzat’s role in sustaining governance in Lagos State.

They passed a vote of confidence in the party structure in Agege, describing the area as a stronghold of the APC with a record of electoral victories.

The leaders called for unity among members and urged them to intensify grassroots mobilisation in line with the party’s ideals.

In a related development, the council endorsed the member representing Agege Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Babatunde Adetunji, commending his performance.

According to party leaders, the endorsement reflects confidence in his legislative contributions and alignment with the APC’s vision in Lagos State.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by members to strengthen the party’s base and sustain its dominance in Agege and adjoining areas.
