JMG Limited has showcased the real-world impact of innovation, delivering projects across healthcare, energy and industry, including solar installations projected to save about ₦44.4 million annually.
The company disclosed this in a statement released on Tuesday by its Media Executive, Cyrena Novia, to mark the 2026 World Creativity and Innovation Day.
According to the statement, the projects align with this year’s theme, “Harnessing Creativity for Global Progress,” reflecting the company’s commitment to applying engineering solutions to critical societal needs.
Among the interventions, JMG installed a solar hybrid power system at Agboyi Ketu Primary Health Care Centre in Lagos, ensuring uninterrupted electricity for essential services such as emergency care, maternity, immunisation and diagnostics.
The firm also noted that its solar installations at NIPCO fuel stations are delivering significant cost savings estimated at about ₦44.4 million annually, while an air compressor upgrade at a Dangote Cement plant improved operational efficiency.
In the digital infrastructure space, JMG said it partnered with Lambert Electromec to deliver cooling systems for parts of West Africa’s largest data centre.
It added that in Kano, it completed a power and cooling upgrade for Quick Buy Supermarket, enhancing business performance and customer experience.
Chief Commercial Officer of the company, Rabi Jammal, stressed the importance of practical innovation, stating: “Innovation must solve real problems. It is not enough to build systems; those systems must improve lives.”
The statement added that the United Nations-designated World Creativity and Innovation Day highlights the role of creative thinking in driving sustainable development.
