The Minority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly who is representing Akoko North East Local Government, Hon Rashid Elegbeleye has affirmed that his party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will takeover Ondo State governorship seat in the 2020 election.

He spoke on Sunday at Ishakunmi Ikare, Akoko North East Local Government Area, Ondo State, at the 10 years remembrance of his late father Pa Jimoh Elegbeleye.

He said, “PDP will ensure that it takes control of the State, through all legal means possible. Winning Ondo State in the coming election is a must. We’ll resist any form of rigging.

“Therefore, we must go back to possess our possession. The people’s voices must be heard and the Sunshine State will bounce back and shine again.”

Elegbeleye also assured that the era of imposition of candidates was over, saying there would be a level-playing field for every aspirant in the party.

The remembrance which was done according to the Moslem right had in attendance royal fathers, community leaders and political associates from and beyond PDP

In his sermon, the Mufasir of Ishakunmi /Eho Ikare, Alfa Habibulahi Jubril admonished Moslem faithful to be of good conduct and be steadfast in their religious practices.
