The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II), directing shortlisted applicants to confirm their status through its official website and selected national newspapers.
Successful candidates are expected to commence the next stage of the recruitment process with the upload of their Medical Certificates of Fitness from Wednesday, July 29, 2026, ahead of documentation and physical screening by the Service.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Monday by the National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, on behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs.
According to the statement, successful applicants will receive further instructions via their registered email addresses or SMS notifications. They are required to log on to the recruitment portal using either their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
The Service said the portal for the upload of the medical certificates would be activated on Wednesday, July 29, and would remain open for one week, urging all successful candidates to complete the process within the stipulated period.

It added that candidates must also update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
The statement further disclosed that successful candidates would subsequently be issued their Trainee Identification Numbers within one week, after which details of documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and other requirements, would be communicated through official channels.
The Customs Service warned that failure to comply with any of the outlined requirements or timelines could result in disqualification from the recruitment exercise and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
The Comptroller-General of Customs, on behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, congratulated the successful candidates and expressed optimism about welcoming them into the Service.
“The Nigeria Customs Service Board congratulates all successful candidates on their success in the recruitment exercise and looks forward to welcoming them into the Nigeria Customs Service as they commence a career dedicated to professionalism, integrity and service to the nation,” the statement said.
