The Senatorial Candidate of the Action Congress of Democracy, for the Ondo North Senatorial District, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba has debunked the rumor making rounds that he has in a gentleman agreement step down for a candidate of another party.
Ipinsagba made the record straight while speaking with the Kakaki Newspot on Wednesday. He said the opposition parties are the one spreading such fake news.
This was coming on the heel of a post on Facebook by a user, perceived to be canvassing for PDP, with the name Togetherness ForVictory had posted on the social media that following a due consultation and deliberations with stakeholders, the ADC Senatorial Candidate in Ondo North, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba has stepped down for the PDP candidate in the district, Dr. Olusegun Phillips Alonge.
The ADC candidate however said such post doesn’t hold water, that is the hand work of some political jobbers who are looking for ways to get money from candidates.
He stressed that he has never step down for anybody, and will never step down for nor ask his loyal supporters to cast their vote for any other person that himself. He urged his supporters to ignore such rumor, that he’s ready to win the election with their support. Adding that giving his people robust and quality representation is not negotiable if voted for.
