2019: ZLP chieftains rate Senatorial candidate, Olasinmi Akindele high

…as candidate assures victory in elections

The chieftains of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, in the Ondo North Senatorial District has rated high the Senatorial Candidate of the party in the district, Hon. Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku.

Among the chieftains who rated her high was the Former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, Former Chief Justice of Ondo State, Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi during the party senatorial meeting on Tuesday in Ikare where Hon. Olasinmi was described as round peg in a round hole if voted as the senator of the district.

Speaking at the meeting, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo said Olasinmi has been tested and trusted that she’ll give the district a robust representation if voted for in the coming 2019 elections.

Oluboyo urged women and youths of the party to work and vote for her (Olasinmi) that she’s the best candidate among all senatorial seat contestants from the area. Adding that voting for her will allow women to be effectively represented at the federal level.

Also speaking, Justice Olasehinde Kumuyi who said the party, ZLP is a new party formed out of the old Labour Party described Hon. Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku as grassroot politician who have the love of her people at heart.

Kumuyi affirmed that the party has been welcoming new members who defected from another party, enjoining members to keep welcoming people who aspire to join the party that the party is ready to take over the state in future governorship elections.

The former Ondo Chief Justice said one of the ideology of the party is giving room for women and youths to be actively involved in the party activities. He said the party have simply expressed that with the candidature of Olasinmi.

Reacting, the Senatorial Candidate, Hon. Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku commended the leadership and member of the party for the love and support shown to her, saying she can feel it.

Olasinmi who lauded other candidates of the party, promised not to disappoint them if voted for in the coming 2019 elections. She however urged members of the party to keep on working so that the party will record even success in the coming poll.

She however assured the party’s victory in the coming elections, saying the masses are with them.

She stressed, “we are driving our campaign in agreement with long-suffering of the Ondo North people who are tired of promises that lead to nowhere.

“This is our chance and I know the people of this district will cease this moment by coming out and voting massively for ZLP for that robust representation that we all desperately want.”
