The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ondo State House of Assembly candidate for Akoko North East Constituency, Mr. Adewumi Olabanji Valentine has promised effective and better representation if voted into office as a lawmaker.
Olabanji affirmed this in a chat with KAKAKI NEWSPOT in Ikare the headquarters of Akoko North East Local Government area of Ondo State on Saturday.
He said he would ensure that good laws that would address the plight of the people were made, adding that he would stop at nothing to ensure that his zone got what was due to them.
He said: “I will stop at nothing to ensure that my constituency gets effective, efficient, positive and better representation if given the opportunity to serve.”
Banji, a former Special Assistant to Govenor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Youths and Student Affairs, said he decided to make himself available after serious consultations with relevant stakeholders and by extension, the people.
According to him, “I am ready to serve that’s why I presented myself because of the love of my people, to add in raising value of life.
“I have made all relevant consultations with my people and they have promised to give me massive support, perhaps, due to my antecedents when I had an appointment offer to serve as a Special Assistant to Mr Governor on Youths and Student Affairs.
“Anyone who has followed the Adewumi series will simply know that the virtues and qualities of the last generations have been transferred into the new generation.
“In our little capacity as the SA to the Governor, we recommended two indigenes from Ikare as beneficiaries when an organisation was to provide artificial legs for amputees (at #500,000 each) which to the beneficiaries is a hope given freely.
“Needless talk about other gestures, some of which we cannot be saying, Akoko North East constituency will be better for it if we clinch the Assembly seat.
Olabanji the young and innovative candidate however charged the people of Akoko North East Constituency the need to think new and act new in the coming 2019 elections by voting him as a younger candidate.
