The fomer Vice President of Nigeria and Presidential aspirant of the opposition People Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said the best way to curtail crime in our society is to create job for the masses.

Atiku who said this on his Twitter handle, stated that the most effective way to fight crime is to create an enabling avenue to create wealth, saying poverty is conducive to crime.

He however promised to create jobs if voted for in the next election. He said what he knows how to do best is creating job, affirming that he will equip the security forces to fight terrorism and crimes in the country.
