Obesere Launches Foundation, Drops New Album “The Bitter Truth”

Fuji icon, Alhaji Abass Qudus Akande Obesere, fondly addressed by his lovers as Omo Rapala, has launched his foundation called ‘Obesere Soludero Foundation‘, which is said to be targeted at empowering and alleviating the poverty of the masses.

Speaking on why the foundation came at this time, Alhaji Abass noted that he felt it is the right time God want it to be birthed. Saying the foundation will serve as a channel to give back to the people community that has been showing him love in the path he chose.

His words, “I feel it is just the right time God wants it to surface. It is the best time our people need such thing to make them feel loved especially the hopeless. It’s good to give back to the community as a way of showing them love”

Meanwhile, Alhaji Obesere, who is still basking in the euphoria of the huge success of the previous album ‘Ojurawonlo‘, which was a sold out, has a new album entitled “The Bitter Truth” to his credit.

Speaking on the success of the new album, he said it was not an easy task releasing the album at this time due to his tight performance schedules home and abroad but “I thank God it will be out tomorrow(today)” he affirmed.

He expressed his high expectations on the six track album to be of high demand by his lovers and Fuji Music lovers at large, reiterating that despite time, needed instrumentals were employed to make all the six tracks of the album a success and appealing to hearing.

Describing how tight his schedules are always he said “The Obesere you know is full of energy that never disappoints. I have little time to rest, despite that, I made sure the content was deep and awesome. I leave the rest to the fans to judge”

He, however, added that the foundation had secured an hour radio programme on Ray Power 95.1 FM, Ibadan to specially entertain the people and discuss how to better their lives.

“The foundation, Obesere Soludero, would be on air every Thursday between 7pm- 8pm, at Ray Power 95.1 FM, Ibadan to entertain the people and allow them to share their needs.”
