Lagos court restrains Lizzy Anjorin from posting about Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, family

The Lagos State High Court has restrained Nollywood actress, Elizabeth Aishat Ibukun Anjorin Lawal, from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading or broadcasting photographs of Priscilla Ajoke Ojo Mkambala’s son, Rakeem Mkambala, on her social media platforms.

The court also ordered the actress to cease and desist from broadcasting, publishing or posting editorials concerning Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son, pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice in the suit.

The interim orders were granted on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, by Justice Yetunde Adesola Adesanya of the High Court of Lagos State, Lagos Judicial Division, sitting at Court 10, JIC Taylor, Igbosere, Lagos.

The order followed a motion ex-parte filed by Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, Juma Mussa Mkambala and their son, Rakeem Mkambala, against Anjorin Lawal in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026.

According to the enrolled order, the court granted the applicants’ prayers after hearing their counsel, O. I. Salami, and considering the affidavit in support of the application sworn to by Juma Mussa Mkambala.

The court specifically restrained Anjorin from publishing or circulating photographs of the third applicant, Rakeem Mkambala, on social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok.

The order listed several social media accounts associated with the actress and her businesses, including @lizzyanjorin_originallawal, @lizzyanjorin_original, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrs_lawal, @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1 and Lizzyanjorin2 on Facebook.

The court further ordered the defendant to “cease and desist broadcasting, publishing and posting editorials on the Applicants” through the specified social media platforms.

The restrictions are temporary, as the court expressly stated that they would remain in force “pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice in this suit.”

Following the orders, the case file was remitted to the Registry of the High Court of Lagos State for reassignment to the appropriate division.

The order was issued and sealed on September 2, 2026, and signed by Omokhudu-Umahoyin Onivenu, Legal Registrar.

The development comes amid the longstanding public dispute between Anjorin and fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, which has repeatedly played out on social media.

The latest court order, however, specifically concerns Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla, her husband and their son, and restricts Anjorin’s publications concerning the applicants pending further proceedings in the suit.
