The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Lagos State Health Service Commission to improve security at healthcare facilities and enhance service delivery across the state.
The assurance came on Friday when the Chairman and members of the Lagos State Health Service Commission paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, SP Abimbola Adebisi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday, saying both institutions discussed ways to deepen cooperation, particularly in providing police support for healthcare facilities, improving security and promoting efficient service delivery.
The delegation was led by the Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Oguntimehin Olukayode. Other members included Dr. Ogboye Olusegun Abayomi, Dr. Odunuga Omolaja Olushola, Dr. (Pharm.) Mrs. Adejumo Moyosore Wuraola and Dr. Mrs. Ololade Fadipe.
Speaking during the meeting, CP Tijani Fatai thanked the delegation for the visit and underscored the importance of sustained collaboration among government institutions.
According to him, “Effective partnership remains essential to improving public service delivery and enhancing the safety and well-being of residents of Lagos State.”
The police commissioner reiterated the Command’s readiness to continue working with the Health Service Commission and other relevant agencies in advancing initiatives aimed at improving public safety and service delivery in Lagos.
