Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been decorated as the Patron of the Lagos State Scout Council during an investiture ceremony held at the Lagos House, Marina, on Friday.
The ceremony was led by the State Commissioner of the Lagos State Scout Council, Alhaji Adebesin Olohuntoyin, alongside other officials of the council.
Speaking during the event, officials of the Scout Council described the investiture as a recognition of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to youth development and leadership advancement in Lagos State.
The governor was presented with a certificate of investiture by Alhaji Olohuntoyin in the presence of members of the Scout Council and top government officials.
Among dignitaries present at the ceremony were the Assistant State Scout Commissioner, Engr. Muyiwa Osigbesan; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Oke-Osanyitolu; Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr. Mobolaji Ogunlende; and representative of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Special Duties, Dr. (Mrs.) Funmi Shokunbi.
The event featured the formal decoration of the governor as Scout Patron and group photographs with members and officials of the Lagos State Scout Council.
