Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has joined family, government officials, and South-West governors to celebrate elder statesman and Afenifere leader, Reuben Fasoranti, on his 100th birthday.
In a congratulatory message shared via his verified social media handles, Sanwo-Olu described Fasoranti as a respected voice for truth, justice, equity, good governance, and the progress of Yorubaland and Nigeria.
The governor noted that Baba Fasoranti’s life of service and leadership has continued to inspire many across the country, particularly within the South-West region.
He also expressed gratitude to God for the grace of long life upon the elder statesman, who is reportedly in good health and sound mind at 100 years.
Sanwo-Olu prayed for continued strength, peace, wisdom, and sound health for the centenarian.
Fasoranti remains one of the most influential socio-political figures in Yorubaland, known for his longstanding advocacy for regional development and national unity.
