Owo Attack: It’s barbaric and unacceptable – FUMAN

Fuji Musician Association of Nigeria (FUMAN) has condemned in its entirety, the gruesome killing of members of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owaluwa, Owo on Pentecost Sunday, 5th June, 2022 by yet to be identified gunmen.

According to various sources, the callous attack had claimed the lives of more than 70 people while many critical injured people majority of whom were women and children are still in the hospital.

The President of the Association, Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Agboola, popularly known as SK Sensation who expressed sadness stressed that it is indeed a black Sunday in Owo, in the entire Ondo state and even Nigeria.

Alhaji Sikiru said “our hearts are heavy. The loss of the people and children cannot be justified on any ground. Innocent future has been taken away from most families and even the Ondo State.”

He lamented the rate at which life becomes cheap and worthless as people are being killed all over the country like fowls.

The President however commiserate with the families of all the innocent souls mauled down by the marauding terrorists in the course of the dastardly act.

“More importantly, our hearts goes out to the proactive Governor of Ondo State, the Government and people of Ondo State and the entire Yoruba land who bear the brunt of this condemnable acts.
