FUMAN, Ondo State Chapter inaugurates new Executives

…as Emperor Sanmi Wonder, Kakaki Adebola Safari emerge Governor, PRO

The Ondo State chapter of Fuji Musician Association of Nigerian, FUMAN has today inaugurated new elected executives who will be managing the affairs of the association for the next three years.

The epoch making occasion which was held in Akure, the capital of Ondo State had in attendance people from all walks of life.

The New Executives are Bakare Adebola Oluwasanmi popularly known as Emperor Sanmi Wonder Arole Barry who was elected as the Governor; Kole Akinyemi known as Osupa Kakison, Vice Governor 1, Olubori Fabiyi Ishola, Vice Governor 2.

Other executives are Adebola Isimijola popularly known as Kakaki Safari (Elere Ibile 1), an Ondo State based Journalist who have penchant for music was inaugurated as the Public Relations Officer of the association, Kuteyi Sikiru Jeunsori as the Financial Secretary and Osuolale Rafiu Osupa as the Treasurer.

Among National Executives and leaders of the association at the occasion were the Vice President 1, Alhaji Kabiru Akanni Olarewaju, AKA Baby Barrister who administered oath of office to the new Ondo State executives, the National Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Iyanda Samila, Alhaji Kamor Kay, the outgoing Governor, Wasiu Adisa Tasora and host of others.

Speaking with newsmen, the newly inaugurated Governor, Bakare Adebola Oluwasanmi who expressed delight thanked God for making the day a success. He enjoined all members of the association to cooperate with the new executives for a hitch free administration.

He charged all Fuji Musicians across the country to always portray themselves in a good light, saying people’s perspective about Fuji Artists has to be changed, that people singing Fuji music cut across all walks of life.

Among dignitaries that graced the occasion were Ondo Assembly Member representing Akoko North East Local Government, Hon. Rasheed Elegbeleye, former Ondo North Senatorial Aspirant, Hon. Abiye Ademoyegun Olubuyimo, Hon. Samuel Obanla.

Others were the Akaye of Ogbagi Akoko, Chief Sunday Omotoso, Chief Olugusi of Igusi land and Alhaja Kuburat Adeyanju.
