Unknown gunmen have abducted another military official, this time, a Navy Commander along Owo-Ikare Road.

The identity of the naval officer is however yet to be ascertained.

It was gathered that he was
travelling to Abuja when the gunmen suspected to be kidnappers dashed out of the bush and abducted him along Ose-Oba Akoko road, in Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.

A military/police joint rescue team are already combing the bushes around the area of the incident in a bid to rescue the victim.

His abduction came a week after an Army Captain who was kidnapped while traveling from Abuja around Auga/Ikaram road was released.

The Army captain last Wednesday regained his freedom from the captivity of his abductors alongside two others.
