The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 238 new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country as Kano state top lists with 92 cases while four new cases confirmed in Ondo.
NCDC disclosed this in a tweet on Friday night, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Ondo to 13, even as Nigeria total cases hit 2,170.
The tweet reads,
“238 new cases of #COVID19; 92-Kano

16-Gombe
10-Bauchi
8-Delta
6-Oyo
5-Zamfara
5-Sokoto
4-Ondo
4-Nasarawa
3-Kwara
3-Edo
3-Ekiti

1-Ebonyi
1-Rivers
1-Enugu
“2,170 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 351 Deaths: 68.”
However, the Ondo State government is yet to give further details of the latest cases of COVID-19 pandemic.
Only on Thursday, a police orderly of a Chief Magistrate was tested positive while the state Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Mr Adekola Olawoye (SAN) was tested negative after attending a court sitting where a COVID-19 patient was also present.
