Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and other chieftains of the Party, has rated high and charged the Ondo North Senatorial Candidate of the party, Dr. Olusegun Phillips Alonge to win massively for the party in coming general election.
Among other chieftains who rated him high were the Director-General, PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Sen. Bukola Saraki, the party Chairman, Uche Secondus and host of other party stalwarts on Monday during a campaign rally in Akure, Ondo State capital where the candidate and other party flag-bearers were described as round peg in a round hole in their various areas if voted for.
The Presidential candidate however stressed the need to vote for PDP candidates at all level of the elections. While lifting the Ondo North Senatorial Candidate for the party, Dr. Olusegun Phillips Alonge, popularly known as OPA hands, Atiku assured him his support, charging him with the PDP zeal to win in the February 16th 2019 general elections.
The former Vice president, who assured Ondo people that he would not abandon them if given the opportunity to become the president, said voting for young minds like Dr. Olusegun Phillips Alonge will boost the country’s working again agenda.
While emphasising the importance of youths in nation building and promised to create enabling environment for the women and teeming youths, Atiku promised that 40 percent appointments in his cabinet will go to youths if elected in the forthcoming election
He said the most important of his administration if elected would be the transformation and restructuring of the country.
