Ondo APC commends Akeredolu over workers’ welfare

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lauded the commitment of the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN over his unwavering commitment to the workers’ welfare in the State.

The chapter made the commendation in a press release signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye on Thursday, applauding the tireless efforts of the Governor to ensure that the ugly development of kidnapping and other vices in the state are timely nipped in the bud.

The party also gave kudos to the governor on his achievements in the area of infrastructural development, investment in agriculture and water.

Similarly, the party praised the governor for promotion of workers and regular payment of salaries despite the huge debt left by immediate past administration in the state.

It however said that present administration has done well in the area of securing the state and ensuring peace prevails contrary to the position of the opposition.

The Ondo APC therefore called on those playing politics with the security and peace of the state to stop it and join hands with the state government to make the state a better place to live in while saying government will not be distracted by the critics in its efforts to make the state safe and prosperous.

ONDO APC COMMENDS AKEREDOLU OVER WORKERS’ WELFARE

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) applauds the commitment of the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN over his unwavering commitment to the workers’ welfare in the State.

The chapter also commends the tireless efforts of the Governor to ensure that the ugly development of kidnapping and other vices in the state are timely nipped in the bud.

It is ordinarily an unthinkable thing for a government with a lean purse to adhere to prompt payment of salaries, and strive to offset all the backlog of salaries and pensions as well as the payment of leave bonus the governor inherited from his predecessor.

The importance of several key roads projects, either under construction or being rehabilitated; massive renovation of school-buildings, unequalled investment in water and agriculture by the present Akeredolu’s administration to the economy of Ondo State can not be overemphasised.

It is equally unfathomable to the opposition that plunged the State into huge debts before the present administration, that Governor Akeredolu could also effect promotion of civil servants, besides regular payment of salaries and wages.

This has, in no small measure, gladdens the heart of the work force that is currently in love with, and praying for the governor fervently.

Contrary to the position of the opposition, the administration seeks a better and secured living situations for the good and peace-loving people of Ondo State.

While it is unethical to discuss security measures in the public square, suffice it to say the recent comprehensive security meetings with the major stateholders are geared towards a kidnapping-free state.

The leaders of the ruling APC in the State and governor will not be distracted by idle and arm-chair publicity pretenders and critics in his mission and commitment to a safe and prosperous Ondo State.

We urge all those playing politics with the security and peace of the State to desist forthwith and join hands with the Governor to implement to the fullest his laudable plans for the State.
