The People’s Democratic Party senatorial candidate of the Ondo North in Ondo State has commenced tour of local government areas in Ondo North Senatorial District aimed at reaching out to party members and leaders ahead of the 2019 general election.
Perfecting plans against the general elections, Dr. Olusegun Phillip Alonge (OPA), commenced mobilization tour across six local governments that made up the Senatorial District.
The mobilization tour is part of electioneering measures put together to meet party leaders and members across the six local governments who will publicly intimate and canvass support from the residents, opinion leaders, professional bodies and leadership of different socio political groups in the district.
During one of the visits to Akoko North East and West local governments on Thursday, the Director General of the Opa campaign organization, Hon. Aladetimehin, revealed that series of strategic plans have been put in place with score of renowned grassroots political big shots to hit the ground running for the success of the project.
He described OPA as a well groomed politician, who understand the rudiment of practical politics, hence the taking the awareness to the party members and leaders.
Addressing PDP leaders and members in Okeagbe, the Senatorial Candidate, Dr. Olusegun Phillips Alonge said the tour is essential in the mobilization and sensitization campaign.
Local governments expected to visit to propagate OPA 2019 Senatorial Agenda include Akoko South East, Akoko South West, Ose local government, and Owo local governments.
