Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has approved the appointment of the following as the Interim Management Committee Chairmen for the eighteen (18) local government areas of the state.
The appointment which is contained in a Press Statement signed by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Segun Ajiboye, followed the ratification of the list by the state House of Assembly, on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
They are:

3. ELDER AYODELE AKANDE—————AKOKO NORTH WEST LG

The governor had few months ago dissolved the former caretaker chairmen in preparation for the aborted December 1 local government election, which was postponed indefinitely due to logistics problems in connection with voters’ register from INEC.
