The Ondo State House of Assembly candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Akoko North East Local Government area of Ondo State, Hon. Adewumi Olabanji Valentine has discredited the rumor making rounds that he is no longer contesting the assembly seat.
Adewumi, who was the Former Special Assistant to Governor Akeredolu on Youths and Student Affairs stated that the rumor is nothing but a figment of imagination of some rumormongers, adding that it is nothing but a basket of lies that cannot hold water.
The aspirants who maintained that he is going to give his people a robust representation if voted for in the coming 2019 election, stated this on his official Facebook campaign page. Urging his supporters to disregard any rumor suggesting his withdrawal from the race.
His said, “I Adewumi Olabanji Valentine, APC candidate for Ondo State House of Assembly, Akoko North East Constituency want to state clearly that I’m still much in the race.
“The rumors going round that I have withdrawn my candidacy is nothing but a figment of imagination of some rumormongers, we see it as nothing but a basket of lies that cannot hold water.
“Kindly disregard as our Mandate is intact.”
