IMPEACHMENT: Political thugs take over Ondo Assembly

Following the impeachment of the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Bamidele Oleyelogun and his Deputy, Rt. Hon Ogundeji Iroju and installation of new leaders, Political thugs have reportedly taken over the Assembly complex, beating staff, lawmakers in the presence of security operatives.

It was gathered that Rt Hon Olamide George, was elected new Speaker with Hon Bimbo Fajolu as new Deputy Speaker.

Security Agents were said to be watching helplessly while the lawmakers exchange blows.
