BREAKING NEWS: Dino Melaye Arraigned, Granted N90 Million Bail

A magistrate court sitting in Abuja Nigeria today Wednesday granted bail to the Senator representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, Senator Dino Melaye in the sum of 90 million naira.

The lawmaker was arraigned Wednesday, May 2 by the Nigeria Police Force. Senator Melaye appeared in court on a stretcher but journalists were prevented from going into the court premises.

Melaye was asked to provide two sureties.

Senator Dino Melaye landed in the hospital after he sustained injuries when he jumped out of a moving vehicle conveying him to a court in Kogi for a gun-running case.
