Dr. Eric Okoye has emerged as the new President of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), succeeding Otunba Francis Meshioye, Executive Director of JMG Limited, who completed his tenure as head of the association.

The leadership transition coincided with the MAN Exhibition held from October 5 to 7, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, where JMG Limited and its home appliances division, Jamara Home, showcased their products and solutions to industry stakeholders.

The exhibition was organised as part of activities marking MAN’s 54th Annual General Meeting and the sixth Adeola Odutola Lecture, bringing together manufacturers, business leaders, policymakers and other stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration and industrial growth.

JMG Limited showcased its LivFast and Lithion batteries, inverters and other energy solutions designed to meet the power needs of households, businesses and industrial operators.

The company’s participation highlighted the role of energy solutions in supporting manufacturing and commercial activities amid the need for reliable and efficient power supply.

Its home appliances division, Jamara Home, also displayed selected Barossa AEON appliances, underscoring its focus on providing products designed to support modern living and household convenience.

According to JMG Limited, its participation in the exhibition reinforced its engagement with Nigeria’s manufacturing community and commitment to discussions on industrial development, energy efficiency, innovation and sustainable growth.

The company said the event also offered opportunities to engage existing and prospective customers, establish connections with industry players and present solutions tailored to the changing needs of the Nigerian market.

The exhibition provided a platform for manufacturers to display their products, exchange ideas and explore business opportunities, while the change in MAN’s leadership marked a new chapter for the association.

Okoye succeeds Meshioye, who is an executive director at JMG Limited and served as MAN president before the transition.
