Rite Foods Limited has rewarded 652 retailers across four regions with ₦6 million in cash prizes and household appliances under its Awoof Retail Flap Promo.
The promotion, which ran from March to June 2026, saw 259,306 flaps redeemed by participating retailers in Port Harcourt, Benin, Lagos and the South-West.
The company said six retailers received ₦1 million each, while 646 others received household appliances including electric kettles, blenders, microwaves, rechargeable fans, gas cookers, freezers, washing machines and 1.5HP inverter air conditioners.
Benin recorded the highest number of prizes with 251, followed by Port Harcourt with 245, the South-West with 84 and Lagos with 72.
All 652 prizes have been presented to the winners across the four regions, the company said.
Speaking on the initiative, the National Sales Manager, Bakery & Modern Trade, Rite Foods Limited, Rotimi Okunola, said the promotion was introduced to recognise the contribution of retailers to the company’s distribution network.
“Our retailers are an important part of our journey to consumers. Every day, they put in the work to make our products available where people shop and buy,” Okunola said.
He said the promo was the company’s way of recognising the efforts of retailers and giving back to those who help keep its brands within reach of consumers.
Under the scheme, retailers who sold eligible Rite Foods products from participating mega cartons collected flaps attached to the cartons and redeemed them for various rewards.
The company said the promotion covered selected products, including Rite Spicy Beef Sausage, and was designed to reward retailers for their role in moving its products from cartons to shops and ultimately to consumers.
