Rite Foods Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to Nigeria’s economic growth, local production and community development as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
The company, in a statement issued on Wednesday by its Media Executive, Adejoke Salami, said its commitment remained anchored on creating value, supporting communities and contributing to opportunities that would enable Nigerians to thrive.
Rite Foods said the theme of this year’s Independence Anniversary, “From Reforms to Stability: Consolidating Nigeria’s Renewed Hope for Shared Prosperity,” reflected the need to translate ongoing reforms into greater opportunities and shared prosperity.
Speaking on the anniversary, Head, Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Rite Foods Limited, Ekuma Eze, said the company remained proud of its Nigerian heritage and committed to contributing to the country’s development.
Eze said, “Independence Day reminds us of where we have come from, the resilience that has brought us this far, and the responsibility we all share in shaping Nigeria’s future.
“At Rite Foods, we are proud to be a Nigerian company creating brands that have become part of the everyday lives of our people. As the nation moves forward, we will continue to create value, support communities, and inspire moments that bring people together.”
The company said its contribution to Nigeria’s growth extended beyond its products to initiatives in talent development, entertainment, sports, education and community development.
It said such interventions reflected its belief that a stronger Nigeria could be built by investing in its people and creating opportunities for them to thrive.
Rite Foods said it had continued to drive local production and innovation from its production facility in Ososa, Ogun State, while serving consumers across the country.
The company’s portfolio includes Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Table Water, Fearless Energy Drink, Sosa Fruit Drinks and a range of sausage rolls, including Rite Spicy Beef, Bigi Beef and Bigi Flex. Its portfolio has also recently expanded to include LIDA Malt.
Rite Foods said its operations remained guided by its commitment to being “Proudly Nigerian, Truly World Class,” while maintaining strong ties with the communities it serves.
As Nigeria celebrates 66 years of independence, the company saluted the resilience, creativity and determination of Nigerians, pledging to remain part of the country’s development journey.
