JMG calls for sustained infrastructure investment to drive Nigeria’s growth

JMG Limited has called for sustained investment in infrastructure, energy systems and technical capacity, describing them as critical to Nigeria’s economic growth and development.

The company made the call in a message commemorating Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, where it congratulated Nigerians and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national development through engineering expertise, technology and infrastructure solutions.

JMG said stronger collaboration among government, businesses, professionals and citizens would be necessary to build and maintain the systems required to support economic activities across the country.

Speaking on the importance of infrastructure to Nigeria’s future, the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Rabi Jammal, said the country’s ability to convert its economic potential into sustainable progress would depend largely on the reliability and efficiency of infrastructure serving businesses, industries and communities.

Jammal said independence also carried the responsibility of creating the conditions required for long-term national development.

“Independence gives us the freedom to determine the kind of country we want to build. That freedom also comes with the responsibility to invest in the infrastructure, skills and technologies that can transform Nigeria’s potential into lasting progress,” he said.

He stressed that reliable electricity and supporting infrastructure remained essential to industrial productivity, business expansion, employment generation and improved living standards.

According to him, Nigeria’s growing demand for dependable and efficient energy provides an opportunity to accelerate the deployment of technologies capable of improving energy security, operational efficiency and sustainable business practices.

Jammal said JMG’s contribution to the Nigerian economy had evolved in response to the country’s changing infrastructure requirements.

He noted that the company had, over the years, provided engineering solutions spanning power generation, electrical infrastructure, vertical transportation, cooling systems, compressed air technologies and renewable energy.

“For nearly three decades, JMG has remained committed to providing practical engineering solutions that support businesses and institutions across Nigeria,” he said.

He added that the company would continue to contribute to the development of infrastructure, technical capacity and energy systems needed to support a more productive and sustainable Nigerian economy.

JMG said its experience in critical infrastructure and engineering solutions had positioned it to continue supporting businesses and institutions with technologies and expertise aimed at addressing evolving operational and energy needs.
