Ogun MILPOPROOF Celebrates NDLEA PRO Over Outstanding Performance Award

The Ogun State Military, Police and Paramilitary Public Relations Officers’ Forum (MILPOPROOF) has congratulated the Public Relations Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Ogun State Command, ASN Haris A. Musa, on his recognition with an Award of Outstanding Performance by the agency’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa (retd.).

The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of Ogun State MILPOPROOF, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, and made available to journalists by the Secretary of the forum, ACC Adegunwa Adegbuyi, on Friday.

Musa was among nearly 300 officers recognised during the 12th Chairman/Chief Executive Officer’s Commendations and Awards ceremony held in Abuja on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Babaseyi, who is also the Police Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Command, said the recognition demonstrated Musa’s commitment, dedication, professionalism and integrity in the discharge of his responsibilities.

He said, “For Haris to have been recognised by the NDLEA, it shows the level of commitment, dedication, professionalism and honesty exhibited by him.”

According to him, Musa’s exceptional performance had also been evident in his activities within MILPOPROOF, adding that the qualities must have reflected positively in the discharge of his duties at the NDLEA.

Babaseyi said members of the forum were delighted to identify with the achievement, describing the award as a source of pride to PROs of security and paramilitary agencies in Ogun State.

He, however, urged the award recipient not to rest on his oars, stressing that the recognition should serve as a call for greater commitment and improved performance.

The MILPOPROOF chairman congratulated Musa on the honour and wished him continued success in his professional career.
