Promasidor Donates Borehole, Water Tower to Isolo Palace

Promasidor Nigeria has donated a borehole and water tower system to the palace of the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom in Lagos as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed at supporting sustainable community development.

The project was commissioned on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the palace of the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Isa Abiodun Faronbi-Shekoni, during a ceremony attended by members of the royal cabinet and senior executives of the company.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Promasidor Nigeria, François Gillet, said the initiative underscored the company’s commitment to improving lives within its host communities.

According to him, thriving businesses are built on thriving communities, noting that access to clean and safe water remains critical to public health, human dignity and economic growth.

“At Promasidor Nigeria, our responsibility extends beyond business operations. We believe in building meaningful and lasting relationships with our host communities through mutual respect, trust and shared progress,” Gillet said.

He added that the borehole project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, which advocates clean water and sanitation for all.

Gillet also appreciated the Isolo community for its continued support and cooperation over the years.

“We sincerely value the warmth and goodwill we have received from the Isolo community and look forward to sustaining this cordial relationship for many years to come,” he added.

Responding, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Oba Isa Abiodun Faronbi-Shekoni, commended Promasidor Nigeria for the donation, describing it as a thoughtful and impactful intervention.

The monarch said the project would improve access to clean water within the palace and the surrounding community.

“We appreciate this laudable gesture from Promasidor Nigeria. This donation will go a long way in serving the needs of the palace and the community,” the monarch stated.

Promasidor Nigeria said the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to community development, investments and job creation across the country.

The commissioning ceremony was attended by the wife of the monarch, Olori Tawakalitu Abike Faronbi-Shekoni, alongside senior officials of Promasidor Nigeria, including the Chief Technical Officer, Brighton Ochieng; Human Resources and Corporate Services Director, Efeguom Oriero; and Head of Regulatory and Government Affairs, Oyindamola Oni.
