
The All Progressives Congress, APC House of Assembly candidate for Akoko North East Local Government, Mr. Olabanji Adewumi has lauded Ondo State Governor, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, for the on-going rehabilitation of roads across the state.
Olabanji gave the commendation While addressing journalists in Ikare Akoko on the occasion of the official flag-off of the Ishakunmi – Eho and Ishakunmi – Ekan roads rehabilitation. He applauded the governor on his transformation agenda across Ikare community and Ondo State in general.

The candidate who thanked the governor for the ongoing dualisation of Ikare roads said the people of the state were happy with the governor’s developmental strides and the bold steps taken within the period of his administration.
He also said that the renovation of roads across the state indicated that the Akeredolu led administration’s commitment to improving living standards for all citizens of Ondo State and not a special set of individuals.

The APC Assembly candidate, who was the Former Special Assistant to Govenor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on Youths and Students Affairs also commended the State Commissioner for Works, Rtd Hon. Taophic Olawale Abdul-Salam and the newly appointed chairman caretaker committee of Akoko North East, Mr. Rafiu Eniayewu. He hinted that the ongoing road projects would assist in increasing the life span of vehicles and promote easy vehicular movement in the area.
He added that the roads will not only enhance vehicular movement but will also boost the economic activities of the area saying Ikare as the commercial nerve of the Akoko region need a motorable roads.
The former SA who expressed delight over the rehabilitation of roads executed by the state government in Ikare Akoko and its environs said that the project was aimed at enhancing easy linkage for road users into neighbouring communities.
