JMG Limited has installed a high-capacity compressed air system capable of delivering approximately 29 cubic metres of air per minute for Mamuda’s manufacturing operations, as the company seeks to support its production requirements and future expansion.
The system, supplied by German manufacturer Kaeser and installed by JMG Industrial, was designed to provide a steady and reliable compressed air supply for Mamuda’s production machinery and other industrial processes.
JMG disclosed this in a statement announcing the completion of the installation and commissioning of the facility, which was developed following an assessment of Mamuda’s operational requirements and projected production needs.
The project involved the design and development of a new compressed air infrastructure tailored to the manufacturer’s requirements, with attention to operating pressure, air quality, storage capacity and anticipated demand.
The completed installation comprises two Kaeser CSD 90 compressors, one CSD 130 compressor, two TE 122 refrigeration dryers, a 2,000-litre air receiver tank, line filtration equipment and ECO-DRAIN condensate management components.
According to JMG, the three compressors deliver a combined output of approximately 29 cubic metres of compressed air per minute at an operating pressure of 8.5 bar.
The two CSD 90 compressors each deliver 8.45 cubic metres per minute, while the CSD 130 unit provides an additional 12 cubic metres per minute. The configuration is intended to meet the facility’s compressed air demand while accommodating its future operational requirements.
The system also includes two refrigeration dryers rated at 16 bar and 12.5 cubic metres per minute each. The equipment helps remove moisture from compressed air, while the filtration and condensate management components support air quality and system operation.
Speaking on the project’s completion, JMG Limited’s Service Manager, Rao Preetham, said the installation had undergone comprehensive commissioning and performance testing.
“The Kaeser compressed air system has been successfully commissioned and passed all final tests. We are confident that the installation will provide Mamuda with a reliable and efficient source of compressed air to support its production machinery and future operational requirements,” he said.
The installation was completed on July 24, 2026, while final commissioning and testing were carried out to verify the system’s performance, pressure stability and operational readiness.
JMG said its approach to the project went beyond the supply of equipment, as its industrial division conducted a detailed assessment of Mamuda’s compressed air requirements before developing the integrated solution.
The company said the process enabled its technical team to determine the appropriate equipment configuration and supporting infrastructure required to meet the manufacturer’s present needs and anticipated production growth.
The project also reflects JMG Industrial’s involvement in the different stages of industrial compressed air delivery, including technical assessment, system design, equipment selection, installation, commissioning and after-sales support.
JMG Limited provides power, industrial and electromechanical solutions to businesses and institutions across Nigeria. Its services include diesel and gas power generation, solar energy, compressed air systems, electrical infrastructure, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, elevators and escalators, logistics and technical support.
