TPT International wins double honours at 2026 EDGE Awards

TPT International, also known as The Preferred Team, has received two honours at the 2026 EDGE Awards, with its Founder and Chief Consultant, Adetokunbo Modupe, also recognised as a PR Industry Legend.

The communications consultancy was named Outstanding Strategic Communications and Reputation Management Agency of the Year, while Modupe received the individual recognition at the awards organised by Marketing Edge.

The honours recognise the agency’s work in strategic communications and reputation management, as well as Modupe’s contribution to the public relations profession over the years.

Established in 1997, TPT International provides services spanning corporate communications, marketing public relations, public affairs, crisis communication, reputation management and strategic counselling.

The agency said its work has increasingly focused on helping organisations manage stakeholder relationships, respond to communication challenges and protect their long-term reputation in an evolving communications environment.

The latest recognition follows TPT International’s inclusion in the inaugural Africa Consultancy Performance Index 2026, published by Earned First, which assessed communications consultancies based on areas including business performance, creative impact, client outcomes, innovation, thought leadership, talent and industry leadership.

Modupe, a communications practitioner and Harvard Business School alumnus, has led the consultancy through its growth in Nigeria and other African markets.

Under his leadership, TPT International has also maintained an alliance with global communications network, WE Communications, giving the consultancy access to international communications expertise.

Reacting to the recognition, Modupe described the awards as another milestone for the organisation, saying the consultancy remained focused on its future growth.

“We know where we are today, and we know where we are building towards. This is a starting line, not a finish line. We will keep building,” he said.

The two awards recognise TPT International at both organisational and individual levels, highlighting the consultancy’s work in strategic communications and reputation management and Modupe’s contribution to the public relations industry.
