Rite Foods Celebrates Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud

Rite Foods Limited has felicitated Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud, urging them to uphold the values of peace, unity, tolerance and love for one another.

The company, in a statement issued on the occasion, described Eid-el-Maulud as a significant period for Muslims to reflect on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, while calling for peaceful coexistence and national progress.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Rite Foods Limited, Mr Seleem Adegunwa, urged Muslims to demonstrate exemplary conduct and live in harmony as they celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

Adegunwa also called on the faithful to pray for the growth and development of Nigeria, stressing the need for renewed unity among Nigerians.

“As a company that shares in the joy of our consumers, we stand with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they mark this important moment in their faith,” he said.

“We hope this season brings renewed unity and progress for all Nigerians,” Adegunwa added.

Also speaking, the Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Rite Foods Limited, Ekuma Eze, said the company takes pride in celebrating significant occasions with its consumers.

Eze encouraged Muslim faithful to mark the season with the company’s range of products, noting that the brands are produced to cater for different occasions.

Rite Foods’ product portfolio includes 13 variants of Bigi Carbonated Soft Drink, Bigi Premium drinking water, five variants of Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, as well as Rite Spicy Beef, Bigi Beef and Bigi Flex Sausage ranges.

The company said its commitment to sustainability and innovation has continued to earn it industry recognition, including the Outstanding FMCG Corporate Brand of the Year at the Edge Awards, alongside multiple honours at the Sustainability, Innovation and Social Impact (SISA) Awards and the SERAS Awards.
