Blessing CEO loses son while in kirikiri custody

Social media personality, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has lost her second son, Bryan, while in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Facility, Lagos.

The development was disclosed on Friday evening by the Head of the Isaamira Love Foundation, Amira Agiye, who appealed to Nigerians for financial assistance on behalf of the detained personality.

Agiye said the death of Blessing CEO’s son had compounded her difficulties, appealing to Nigerians to assist her in meeting the conditions for her release from custody.

She said, “It is sad to announce to you all that Blessing CEO just lost her second son. My name is Amira Agiye.

“I’m here to appeal on behalf of Blessing CEO, who is currently in custody. I understand that people might have different opinions about her and the circumstances surrounding her case.

“And like every one of us, she deserves compassion and an opportunity for redemption.”

According to Agiye, Blessing CEO requires N20 million to meet her bail conditions, while another N36 million is needed to settle debts owed to individuals who instituted the case against her.

She appealed to Nigerians to assist the family, saying the financial support would help secure Blessing CEO’s release so she could pay her last respects to her son.

“Please, Nigerians, let’s forgive her for the sake of that boy who is still in the mortuary. With Blessing’s full consent and authorisation, I’m appealing to all Nigerians to help donate so we can help her out of this situation,” Agiye said.

In a voice conversation played by Agiye, Blessing CEO also confirmed the death of her son, describing Bryan as full of life.

She said, “My second son, Bryan, was full of life. While in custody, I lost Bryan.

“I pray this turns out positive so I can leave this place, pick up the pieces of my life and pay my respects to him.”

Blessing CEO is being held in connection with a N69.15 million property fraud case.

She was granted N20 million bail in July 2026, with two sureties in like sum. Each surety was also required to provide three years’ proof of deposits valued at N20 million.

However, she has remained in custody after reportedly failing to meet the bail conditions, about two months after the court granted her bail.

The reported death of her son has now prompted renewed calls for assistance to enable her secure her release from custody and attend to the burial arrangements.
